Tipping a mover is tradition that many don't do or simply don't know it the proper thing to do. You don't think twice about valet tipping. Why would you not tip the people who moved all of your personal property safely and carefully. As in a restaurant, waiter tipping is not always required. There are no tipping rules. It's just a common courtesy.

Renting a storage unit might be necessary for you during, before or after your move. There are storage units available all over that come in all shapes and sizes. There are some storage units available that are big enough to store up to two cars at once,along with many other things. The rental rates usually vary, but they all basically go by size. A fourteen foot by twelve foot storage unit is definitely going to be cheaper than a storage unit that is as big as a two car garage.

There are now companies that bring the storage unit right to you. Pods is a good company that does this. When you are finished, you call them and they come pick it up for you. in some cases, they can deliver the storage unit hundreds of miles away to a new location or you can have it brought back to the original location, if need be.

Shop around for storage units and decide which is most convenient for you and if you need a cheap storage unit that isn't going to cost you the amount of basically paying rent on a home or apartment.
